Stocktrack32 is a 32 bit stock quote utility for Windows 95 or Windows NT. Stocktrack32 can retrieve stock information, such as the current value, the day high, the day low etc.. Although this information is available from web servers on the internet, these servers usually only allow you to enter a few requests. Stocktrack32 is a stand alone winsock application. You do not need to run to your web browser or other internet applications to receive stock information. The number of stocks you can keep track of is unlimited. You always have the option of retrieving information for all of your stocks, or just the ones you select. Stocktrack32 can retrieve 24 of the most widely used stock indexes, such as the Dow Jones Industrial, Standard and Poors, etc. Stocktrack32 can also retrieve history data for certain stocks maintained on MIT's ftp server. This allows you to see how your stock value have changed over time. Currently, there is about 3 years worth of data for several hundred stocks available on the MIT server. Stocktrack32 is capable of plotting the stock history data so you can easily track the stock values. No external plotting utility is required. Stocktrack32 is shareware. This means it is not free.
